Kim Murer

Kim is the baritone saxophonist for the Stratford community band. In addition to the baritone sax, she also plays alto sax, trumpet, guitar, and bass clarinet. She is a sophomore at Stratford high school, and is an active member of the music program. Kim plays in SHS's concert and jazz bands, and
has played in the orchestra for the school musical twice. She is a member of the swim team, and Stratford High's Gay-Strait Alliance.

Kim began playing alto sax in the fourth grade, and six years later, it
remains her favorite instrument. She currently lives in Stratford with her parents and her younger sister. Kim enjoys being involved in music, and hopes to have a career as a musician.
