After graduating high school in 1983, Sherri played flute and baritone sax for the Neighborhood Music School Jazz Band for several years.  In 1985, she joined the West Haven Civic Orchestra and played flute there until 1997.

She attended business school in New Haven and graduated in 1984.  After graduation, Sherri took her first job with SNET where she worked for 11 ½ years. She took early retirement in 1996 and currently works for a physician practice in Stratford.

In 1991, Sherri met her husband John, who is a lifelong resident of Stratford.  They were married in 1998 and currently live in Stratford with their two sons.

She has been playing with the SCCB for a little over a year and really enjoys being part of the group.
